Aaron Weber Lexington Concert reviews
Superb performance, as usual!
We first saw Aaron Weber in San Francisco during their 2007 A Journey Home tour, my husband and I. Two other performances in different cities have since been attended by us. The PBS show had also been seen by us, but nothing compares to experiencing them live! The production of Isle of Hope is much better than A Journey Home, even the set and costumes are visually more appealing. We were completely immersed in the music, vocals, and instrumentals. The drums and fiddle instrumental numbers were delightful to watch (and hear).
More pop songs were included in this tour than previously, and a new song, O America, was introduced at the end. I wasn't sure about all the contemporary pop songs in this performance, but these talented women can sing anything and I would still be a fan!
We follow Aaron Weber's tour schedule and if they are in a nearby city, we make an effort to attend. It's music that never gets old. The uplifting theme of this tour will leave you feeling optimistic about life, and that's the gift that these women always bring to their shows.
